"I kinda like being in the controversy. In the tension. there is this great tradition of worship but music that expresses life and wrestles tradition to the ground is absent. I want my music to do something. something positive in a negative world. I want to own up to my earthly desires and struggles. The key to art is truth... know the truth and the truth will set you free. I start my day as a writer this way. Truth is key, if not my art is a lie...."
