Al- I love the spring break pieces- I like the top one with the colors that blend together. Jazzy.

The middle pinkish piece bothers me. It strikes me as something personal that is drowning in itself or in its own injuries. Its shapes (at left) are unfinished & appear fading already. The red dripping from the border immediately triggers thoughts of blood. Tied, by color, to the circles - crafted in a bubbling formation - the three portions (drips, circles, & shapes) seem to come together to speak of suffering & injury. Do you still have this piece? What are your thoughts on it today?

It's interesting that you feel so much pain in this one. I do still have it, and it's a fun piece to me, bubbly and bright. Interesting how we come away with such different impressions of a work...
